LIFEBMS outdoor power supply developed based on the combination of intelligent BMS management system and iron-lithium battery. The battery management system BMS is used as a circuit protection board, which can make the high-polymer iron-lithium battery play a greater role and ensure the normal, efficient and stable charging of the battery. Block Diagram Description

1. Power Input Section:

  • AC Charging Input: AC power is converted via an AC to DC converter for charging the battery.
  • DC Charging Input: Provides alternative charging through solar panels or a car charger, directly charging the battery from a DC power source (12-26V).

2. Battery Management System (BMS):

  • Battery Monitoring & Protection: Ensures that the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery is safely charged and discharged, preventing overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits.
  • Battery Health Monitoring: Continuously tracks the battery’s voltage, current, and temperature to optimize battery performance and longevity.
  • Temperature Sensors: Monitors the battery’s temperature to ensure it operates within safe limits.
  • Balancing Circuit: Maintains balanced charge across all cells in the battery to enhance lifespan and efficiency.

3. Battery Storage:

  • Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery: Stores power for use. Known for superior thermal stability and long-lasting performance under high temperatures.

4. Power Conversion Unit (DC/AC):

  • DC-AC Inverter: Converts stored DC power from the battery to AC power to supply 110V/220V output, providing stable pure sine wave power to connected devices.
  • Pure Sine Wave Output: Ensures compatibility with sensitive electronic devices that require stable power quality.

5. Power Distribution:

  • USB Outputs: Three QC3.0 USB ports for fast charging of devices.
  • Type-C Output: High-power Type-C output for laptops, phones, or other high-power devices.
  • Car Charger Output: For powering car appliances.
  • DC5521 Output: Provides additional DC outputs for various devices that require 12V DC.

6. Safety and Protection Circuitry:

  • Overcurrent Protection: Prevents excessive current that could damage the internal circuitry or external devices.
  • Short Circuit Protection: Stops the power supply in case of a short circuit.
  • Overvoltage Protection: Protects the system from damage due to excessive voltage.
  • Thermal Protection: Automatically shuts down the system in case of overheating to avoid damage.
